  • The paper explains the notions of public relations and publicity, and analyses the relevant activities of Croatian National Tourist Board in the recent years with the aim to promote Croatian tourism in the international tourism market. The activities indicate the significance of foreign reporters' study tours organised by Croatian National Tourism Board, as expressed in the estimated value of their media contributions. The constant rise in tourist traffic all over Croatia can certainly, in its major part, be connected to the positive impact of the activities of public relations and publicity as parts of complete marketing communication of Croatian National Tourist Board.
