• Dopo aver indicato le poche ricerche su Isacco di Stella, l'Autore, sulla traccia del Trattato psicologico e dei Sermoni, ne espone la dottrina dell'anima. E precisamente: la posizione dell'anima nel complesso della realtà, sia in relazione al corpo che in relazione a Dio; come essa sia una sostanza semplice; la facoltà irascibile, concupiscibile e conoscitiva; l'anima come specchio o macrocosmo di tutto l'universo; il particolare modo di contatto della anima col corpo; il problema dell'immortalità; la posizione di essa nel corpo. Infine l'Autore tratta brevemente delle fonti di Isacco e sostiene che allo stato attuale delle ricerche l'Abate di Stella non si può considerare seguace di nessuna dottrina filosofica. L'Auteur montre de abord la bibliographie d'Isaac abbè de Stella et l'importance de sa pensée dans l'histoire de la philosophie du XIIª siècle. Il explique la doctrine psychologique de Isaac empruntée au Tractatus et aux Sermones. Poutant il considère: l'âme entre Dieu et le corps; la nature de l'âme; les puissances psychologiques; la union de l'âme avec le corps; le problème de l'immortalité de l'âme intellectuelle. Enfin l'Auteur ajoute quelques considerations sur la position de cette doctrine entre les Écoles philosophiques du temps The Author, after mentioning the little information about Isacco di Stella and examining the Trattato psicologico and the Sermoni, sets forth the doctrine of the soul and exactly: the position of the soul in the field of realty both in relation to the body and in relation to God; how it is a simple substance; the faculty of being irritable, concupiscible and the faculty of understanding; the soul is like a mirror or macrocosm of all the universe; the particular way of contact fo the soul with the body; the problem of immortality; the position of it in the body. At last the Author deals shortly with the source of Isacc and maintains that, as the matters stand at present, the Abate di Stella cannot be looked upon to be a follower of any philosophic school. Der Schrifsteller nach der Anweisung der venigen Forschungen über Isacco di Stella, sorvie im Trattato psicologico ind im Sermones erklärt die Doktrina der Seele. Und deutlich, die Lage der Seele in der Wirklichkeit, in der Beziehung dem Körper und in der Beziehung Gott; wie sie line einfache Substanz sei: die jähzorunge, Begierde erregende und erkennbar Macht: die Seele wie Spiegel oder Macrokosmus des ganzen Universum: die besondere Verbindung der Seele mit dem Körper: das Problem der Unsterblichkeit und seine Lage im Körper. Endlich behandelt der Schrifsteller Kurz der Ursprungen von Isacco und sagt das, wie die Sache stehen, der Abate di Stella ist Anhänger Keiner philosophische Schule.
