Beschreibungen/Notizen
There are no data on human plasma concentration following epidural administration of vecuronium; however, much slower recovery from neuromuscular block may be postulated based on the fact that plasma concentrations of hydrophilic local anesthetics administered into the epidural space reach their peak after 15 to 25 minutes [3]. Among the neuromuscular blocking agents used clinically, vecuronium's lipophilicity is relatively higher than that of other drugs. [...]vecuronium may be sequestered in the epidural fat, resulting in a relatively longer duration of action.
