Beschreibungen/Notizen
Despite having been domesticated for millennia and the thousands of generations of animals raised in captivity by humans, farm animals remain prey and continue to perceive humans as predators. This predator-prey relationship permeates any interaction we have with animals from these species, and it is our responsibility to ensure that steps are taken to make the animals as comfortable as possible in our presence. Adequate habituation to humans and positive handling must be the defining characteristics of our interactions with farm animals. We need to provide what the animal needs to thrive and what the animal wants for them to live a life that they consider worth living.
