This chapter presents the insights from the interview of Neil Dubord, Chief Constable, Delta, British Columbia Police Department, Canada to Curt T. Griffiths. An interview that engages with one committed both to community policing and partnering with other agencies and organizations to address issues in the community, and to transforming police culture to meet the new policing style. Public policing in Canada is carried out at four levels: federal, provincial, municipal, and First Nations. In addition, there are private security services and parapolice services. Canadian police services vary greatly in size and in terms of areas for which they are responsible. At one end of scale, there are three officer Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachments in many remote northern communities; at the other, there are thousands of officers in urban centres of Toronto and Montreal.
