• Since October 2017, many accounts of sexual harassment and assault in the Hollywood entertainment industry have been reported in the news and posted on social media, culminating in the #MeToo movement. Similar allegations have emerged from film industries around the world. Recognition is long overdue, yet all manner of exploitation is not new in such industries (see Martin 2017; Miller et al. 2005).
