This chapter offers ways for young people to take care of their emotional health. It presents a collection of 'Mindfulness moments' to students that will help to underpin their wellbeing. The idea is for participants to identify a few activities they might incorporate into their lives to recuperate, boost their coping skills and manage life-stresses more effectively. When children experience intense feelings, they can easily believe nothing can help and become caught in a classic fight, flight or freeze overreaction. Feelings of helplessness, hopelessness and shame are counterproductive to resilience and wellbeing. Very few young people consistently express their feelings in steady and appropriate ways all the time. When children are overwhelmed by extreme feelings, this is our call to duty. The Buzz provides students with an opportunity to create role-plays, process the emotional ideas at play and receive feedback from the group.
