To improve the anti-ageing performance of insulating paper for oil-immersed transformer, this paper immersed insulating paper in three kinds of alkoxy silane with different modification groups to form a film with specific modification groups on insulating paper, and carried out the accelerated thermal ageing test on it, and periodically sampled to measure the tensile strength and breakdown voltage parameters of insulating paper. The results show that the alkoxy silane can protect the insulating paper from damage in the ageing process by the combination of hydrogen bond and cellulose unit, and the addition of amino bond can reduce the diffusion coefficient of water molecules in cellulose molecule, so as to delay the invasion of water molecules. Therefore, the mechanical strengthand dielectric strength of insulating paper will be significantly improved.
