  • We use the satisfactory optimization method to address the integrated optimization of train rescheduling decisions and train speed trajectories for a high-speed railway line under disturbance. In this paper, we consider multiple optimization objective indicators from the viewpoint of the operating company (i.e., arrival deviation, departure deviation, and energy consumption) and passengers (i.e., passenger delay, average delay, and total travel time). This paper proposes a mixed-integer programming model to solve the integrated optimization problem. In the model, we develop a comprehensive satisfactory function to evaluate the performance of the integrated optimization problem for train rescheduling and train control. Moreover, we consider the decisions of retiming, reordering, and speed level selection for trains in the model. Experiments are conducted based on a high-speed railway line in China to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model. Experimental results show the proposed method could achieve better train operation (i.e., higher satisfactory rate) in comparison to the method only consider the satisfactory rate from one aspect (i.e., passenger or operation company) or the traditional weighted-sum method.
