• It is important to fairly allocate revenue to promote the integrated development of the whole industrial chain of agricultural products and to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the agricultural industry. This paper investigates the maize industry chain, which is composed of farmers-processors-logistics enterprises as the object, and takes resource contribution, cost degree, risk resistance and ecological devotion into consideration as factors influencing the distribution of benefits. The results show that farmers, as maize producers, are dominant in the maize chain, so their ultimate benefits are higher than those of other agents. With the improved Shapley method, the benefits can be distributed more fairly and cooperative alliances can be encouraged. Moreover, the overall benefits of the maize industry chain are greatest when all the maize industry chain players participate in full cooperation.
