  • The paper puts forward a self-powered double-layer parking device, aimed at solving the problem of a serious shortage of parking space and transformational difficulty in older urban communities. The parking device was driven by the power of the car and driver, which can be accessed to cars independently. The detailed force analysis of the device was carried out thoroughly, which is combined with the structure and the driving principle of the device. Based on the parameters, the structure of the device was determined and the self-powered systems, satisfying the requirements, were designed. Taking the height of the column and the force point of wire, the analysis and research of dynamic simulation was accomplished, based on the ADAMS accomplished. The dynamic performance optimization design was obtained and the rationality and feasibility of the device were verified, too.
