  • In order to solve the problem of silt removal of the gravel bed during the construction of the immersed tube tunnel, a new type of dredging device for the gravel bed of the immersed tube was designed. On the basis of not disturbing the gravel bed, water jet is used to blow the silt on the bed, and the dredging pump is used to remove the silt on the gravel bed of the immersed tunnel. Based on the theory of submerged jets, a mathematical calculation model of water jets is established. By using CFD simulation technology, the law of action between jet pressure and jet velocity is studied. The research results show that the jet flow velocity changes significantly under different jet pressures and the jet pressure and flow velocity are positively correlated. The research results can provide a theoretical reference for the design of dredging system for immersed gravel bed.
