• The Web is one of the most powerful platforms in recent years, a large number of applications are built over the platform using API's provided in HTML5 and various other web technologies. WebRTC (Real-Time Communication) standard allows supporting browsers to stream video and audio content directly from native devices such as web cam, enabling gesture recognition within the browser window. The project aims to develop a system that would allow users to interact with web applications using simple hand gestures. This system would eliminate the use of more complex input devices and easy to use. It is cost-efficient, as no additional hardware is required. It requires less processing power. It has a reduced latency as there is no 3D image manipulation required. One practical use is within a mass casualty management framework to help the operator briefly check the traffic cameras to suggest the routes for first responders.
