  • In AC/DC hybrid microgrid, interlinking converters is considerable in maintaining power system stability. A bidirectional droop control is designed for interlinking converters. The power of interlinking converters transmission power is decided by AC frequency and DC voltage respectively. The control structure includes two droop control modules, which are AC frequency-active power and DC voltage-active power. Reference value of power is achieved by two modules' subtraction. To reduce the drop of frequency and voltage, which is produced by droop control, a recovery control is designed. The bidirectional control strategy can uniformly distribute the power transmission. Energy is used efficiently. A simulation system is built in DigSILENT, and the strategy is confirmed effective.
