In this paper, zero backscattering by chiral objects when illuminated by an electromagnetic plane wave is investigated. For this a bi-isotropic chiral sphere coated with chiral metamaterial embedded in free space is considered. Self-duality cases satisfy for zero backscattering. Conditions on permittivity and permeability for zero backscattering are presented in this paper. Results have been discussed for different configurations of bi-isotropic sphere as dielectric-dielectric, dielectric-chiral, chiral dielectric and single dielectric cases. Specific results for chirality parameter have been discussed for these configurations.
