• In order to reduce the influence of high temperature of compressible air in a gas turbine compressor on its operation it is proposed to apply air pre-cooling. An absorption refrigeration machine was chosen as a source of cold for research. The paper analyzes the operation of a gas turbine at various air temperatures. The installation of an absorption refrigeration machine in the circuit of a combined cycle gas turbine unit was investigated.
