This study presents the methodology and results of impulsive radio noise measurements in an indoor environment with and without three specific consumer electronic devices running, at frequencies between 63 MHz and 139 MHz. The data reported in this work reveal the significance of impulsive noise in indoor locations. The received impulsive noise peak levels are significant, 30 dB higher than the background noise level in most cases. The procedure and methodology of measurements and the characterization of the impulsive noise have been made according to the ITU-R Recommendation SM.1753. This report contributes to the ITU-R Question 214-5/3, which asks for more radio noise studies.
