  • At the initial stage of the development of the Tyrnyauz deposit, complex scheelite and molybdenite containing ore were extracted, the processing of which was carried out by a single technological stream. Subsequently, monocomponent ores (molybdenum or tungsten-containing ores) are involved in mining. Since the mixing of monocomponent ores leads to mutual dilution, it is planned to separate them separately. At the same time, separate processing exacerbates the problem of oxidized molybdenum-containing ores.Separate sections of the deposit are susceptible to varying degrees of oxidation. The indicators of the existing enrichment technology with a degree of oxidation of molybdenite exceeding 10% deteriorate noticeably. According to the current technology from tungsten-molybdenum ores, the pellitite is extracted together with scheelite into the collective concentrate. In case of separate processing, the presence of calcium minerals in the ore makes it difficult to obtain rich primitic concentrates. To solve the problem, a technology has been developed for the formation of the quality of molybdenum-containing ores, including the zoning of the open field, the differentiation of the ore massifs that are different in terms of technological properties, and the selective excavation into an independent stream of ores from zones with increased oxidation of molybdenite. After the concentration of the levellite by the method of luminescent separation, the oxidized molybdenum-containing ores are processed separately. From coarse concentrate, after oxidation of molybdenite, the levellate leaching is carried out in the melt medium of a mixture of chloride and sodium silicate. The tail separation product is sent after grinding to flotation to form a molybdenum concentrate. The implementation of the technology is possible on the basis of a high level of automation of mining processes, in particular using special algorithms of robotic excavator intraboy sorting and an automated control system for intracatch piece separation.
