This is to suggest a technique of calculation of the chemical and phase structure of issuing materials in the process of vacuum-thermal processing and activation of cathodes (VTP). The technique is based on the division of VTP into intervals, within the limits of which the system is considered to be quasi-equilibrated. In turn the determination of an equilibrium structure during each quantum of time consists in the determination of such a chemical and phase structure, in which the system has maximum entropy index. The technique permits to reject the concept of chemical reaction, is universal and is realized by a computer.
