  • Newcomer technology as wireless power transfer is an impressive task in our lifestyle. It is utilized in electronic devices such as cell phone charging, electronic home appliances, industrial tools and the automotive industry as inductive power transfer for charging electric vehicles. DD pad is a novel coil structure that has a better performance than the other forms of structure such as circular pad. In the stationary and dynamic charging wireless power transfer, misalignment of the pads is a major problem. Engineers have made efforts to design an efficient and compact pad to overcome this problem. DDQ pad is an effective way to handle the misalignment positions. To compress the system while utilizing the LCC compensation method, the compensation coil is integrated into the main coils. In this paper, the effect of the compensation coil on the main coils and also on the quadrature coil is analyzed with 3D Finite element method (FEM) tool ANSYS MAXWELL. In the following, the optimized size of coils to have inconsiderable effect between the quadrature coil and compensated coil is calculated.
