In this paper, we investigate the capacity of wireless networks considering the social features of interactions between nodes. In our proposed network model, each node has a varied number of social contacts, and connection frequency between the source-destination pair is dependent on the intimacy and geographical distance between them. The throughput capacity of wireless networks is analyzed when both the source node's social scope and connection probability follow power-law distribution. The effect of physical distance and clustering property on throughput capacity is demonstrated and discussed in our results.
