An artificial immune system development and applications in control domain are reviewed briefly. The control system anomalies are defined as antigens and the control policies for them are defined as antibodies, the anomaly detection and diagnosis, the control policy mating, adaptive learning and memory process is defined as immune response. The coding method for control system anomaly character and the method divided coding vector shape-space are discussed. System anomaly detection and adaptive fault-tolerant control ideal based on artificial immune principles are proposed and control system architecture, control policy matching algorithm and a flowchart of the control system is given. The control system practicability is verified by simple engineering and simulations.
