  • Pipeline inner inspection technology based on metal magnetic memory effect can detect stress concentration regions accurately which are hazardous. Since the limits of installation conditions and the number of sensors, large errors between measured values and actual values of pipeline internal surface magnetic field strength always exist. In order to eliminate the effects of the errors on the inspect qualities, this paper presents a kind of metal magnetic memory based image reconstruction technology for pipeline internal surface magnetic field distribution. This paper researches the image reconstruction system construction for pipeline internal surface self-magnetic flux leakage, mathematical model building of image reconstruction system, reconstruction algorithms and the quality evaluation of image reconstruction. This kind of image reconstruction technology provides direct basis for researching on quantitative relations between stress or defects and Leakage magnetic field strength, and provides the basis for automation of pipeline inner inspection based on metal magnetic memory effect.
