To improve the safety of spacecraft and the anti-fault diffusion ability of harness, this paper analyzes the composition and structure of spacecraft harness. A harness fault tree model of overcurrent and overload is established to analyze the weak points and determinants of harness fault diffusion. The research result shows that:1. Isolation distance, fault time and fault temperature are the fault diffusion factors, and the isolation distance is a controllable factor; 2. Setting a reasonable isolation distance can effectively cut off the fault diffusion path. Based on that, a simulation model of the harness fault diffusion is established. The simulation results show that 10mm is the key parameter of the fault diffusion. All the conclusions can be applied to spacecrafts' harness design to improve the safety and reliability of the spacecrafts.
