  • 3D image reconstruction of rural houses is a necessary means for visual reconstruction of damaged houses. This paper presents a 3D reconstruction technique of damaged rural buildings based on VR visual reconstruction and image restoration. The damaged parts of village houses were imaged by laser 3D scanning. The acquired image is denoised by the median filter. Using virtual reality method to trace and draw the image boundary and texture, this paper completes reconstruction of images of damaged rural houses. A rural terrain modeling method based on 3D color characteristics is proposed. Finally, the damaged village houses were simulated with 3D reproduction. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can be used to restore and visualize the rural house image. The method proposed in this paper can reflect the characteristics of rural buildings well and obtain high quality images.
