  • In this study, we integrate C-V2X (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) technology with urban intersection scenarios and design and implement a comprehensive C-V2X system-level simulation platform. The platform encompasses three main modules: traffic simulation, network simulation, and performance evaluation. Using this simulation platform, we validate the reliability of the C-V2X system by assessing the array packet reception rate. The results demonstrate the high reliability of our system platform. Moreover, we evaluate the performance of LTE-V2X direct link broadcast communication under low, medium, and high vehicle density scenarios. Our findings indicate that the system's transmission performance deteriorates in high-density vehicle scenarios. Additionally, we assess the performance of NR-V2X direct link broadcast communication by examining the impact of the physical layer parameter SCS. The results reveal that increasing the SCS improves the transmission performance. Furthermore, we find that NR-V2X can enhance system performance through the flexible configuration of parameters. Our research contributes to the understanding of C-V2X technology in urban intersection environments and provides valuable insights for optimizing system performance and reliability.
