Research on wind power grid integration requires the establishment of effective transient models for wind turbines. Identifying the key parameters that significantly influence the transient characteristics of wind turbines is an important aspect to consider. To identify these key parameters, this study conducts sensitivity analysis on various parameters of the existing generalized electromagnetic transient model for the fault ride-through process of direct-drive wind turbines. This analysis aims to uncover the key parameters and assess their impact on transient characteristics. The average trajectory sensitivity values for each parameter in the model have been calculated in this study. These values can be used to select appropriate key parameters in different application scenarios.
