In recent years, metasurface has attracted the attention of researchers because of their ability to flexibly and dynamically modulate electromagnetic waves. In this paper, we design and analyze a wideband reconfigurable reflectarray antenna based on polarization-converting metasurface. The top of the metasurface consists of two fishbone-type metal patches that are placed orthogonally to each other and connected by square connecting wires. The unit cell is formed into a 20 \times 20 reflectarray antenna. The simulated result shows that it can achieve cross-polarized ± 60° beam scanning in a wide range, which verifies its beam modulation capability. In the future, on its basis, it can be custom designed to realize independent directional beams covering different angular domains. The design has a wide range of applications in wireless communication and multi-input multi-output communication systems.
