  • In this paper, the connectivity of Internet of Things (IoT) network via 3D massive MIMO technology has been analysed. We have deployed a single-cell to create connectivity for a considerable IoT users. Comprehensive channel model has been driven in the elevation domain as well as in the azimuthal domain. Additionally, We have calculated bandwidth efficiency (BE) equations for zero-forcing (ZF), and the proposed scheme named as improved zero-forcing (IZF) in IoT network having connectivity through 3D massive MIMO. The proposed scheme has been tested through various important parameters such as single-to-noise (SNR) and changing the angular spread. Additionally, we have also checked the values of BE with different number of IoT users. The comprehensive analysis has been performed through multiple antenna configurations. The simulations indicate that, our proposed IZF outperforms traditional ZF in terms of BE while varying several parameters. Furthermore, we implicate that the 3D massive MIMO technology can be applied freely for connecting an IoT edge networks.
