  • The wooden carvedfurniture industry has experienced growth thanks to the integration of 3D technology. Specifically, photogrammetry and Structure-from-Motion (SfM) have played a role in the showcasing of these products. This research focuses on the impact of these technologies on the transformation of the presentation of hand-crafted furniture, which is culturally important and unique in Indonesia's booming e-Commerce landscape. A key aspect of this transformation is depth maps that capture every detail and authentic characteristic of carved furniture, providing a digital visualization. Drawing inspiration from geosciences and cultural preservation applications, this study uses SvM techniques to create depth maps that accurately represent volume and variations, ensuring that the digital versions closely resemble their physical counterparts. Using existing knowledge and drawing insights from river restoration studies, this research presents a method to digitize 3D carved furniture while preserving its designs. Ultimately, this approach aims to improve shopping experiences by offering immersive ways to explore these traditional Indonesian art forms while supporting local communities' economic empowerment and preserving their artistic heritage.
