To optimize the total operating cost of an integrated energy system (IES), an IES optimal scheduling model is proposed based on the demand response of multiple controllable loads. The model takes into consideration the commodity attributes of natural gas and power energy on the demand side. Two DR models are developed using the peak-valley price strategy for different loads. These models include the power-gas DR model, which utilizes a price elasticity matrix, and the alternative DR model that considers energy conversion. Furthermore, a heat-cooling load model is established, considering the fuzziness in human body's temperature perception. Finally, an optimal scheduling model is constructed, which minimizes the total cost by considering the energy purchase cost, equipment operation and maintenance cost, and DR compensation cost. The model is solved using the CPLEX solver. Simulation analysis with multiple scenarios demonstrates the cost reduction effectiveness of the proposed model.
