In this research work, a resonator method is developed for studying the dielectric properties of a mixture of bulk materials made of cement and sand at Ka-band. The dielectric constant and loss tangent of studied mixture are experimentally obtained and then allow achieving the dielectric characteristics of a dielectric resonator made as a mixture of cement and sand, and is excited using whispering gallery modes (WGMs). Moreover, it is found that the proposed measurement technique presents very high resolution with concentration dependences of the dielectric characteristics of developed mixture.
