• Cybersecurity has become a key concern for organizations and individuals worldwide. The interconnected nature of the digital world, combined with the continued development of new technologies, has created a landscape rife with potential threats. This paper examines the nature of cyber security threats in various fields, namely the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, healthcare, government, and finance. It discusses the various security vulnerabilities related to these technologies and industries and provides an overview of the measures that can be taken to mitigate the associated risks. The paper looks at the role and importance of cyber security in the current digital age and the need for increased vigilance to protect against malicious actors. Along with an overview, this paper aims to focus on cyber security threats in the field of blockchain technology, more significantly on crypto transactions. The proposed ETVS is an effectual transaction verification structure that acts as an additional protection to the transactions.
