A high power five port DC-DC converter topology is proposed in this paper. The topology utilizes a three Phase Current Fed partially isolated Triple Active Bridge (CF-TAB3) structure which integrates major renewable energy sources and energy storage devices to a DC Micro grid. Compared to other TAB based converter topology the proposed topology offers high current carrying capability, less input current ripples, higher number of ports and bidirectional power flow capability among different ports. In addition, direct connection of solar PV across the series connection of dc link capacitors reduces the overall number of stages and number of converter units. The steady state operation and soft-switching performance are analysed. A 20kW system is designed and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK to verify the proposed converter topology.
