• Rad na sažet način donosi pregled povijesnog razvoja instituta rada za opće dobro, prikaz zakonskih izmjena koje su se dogodile u proteklom 25-ogodišnjem razdoblju vezano uz zakonsko uređenje izricanja i izvršavanja rada za opće dobro te prikaz sadašnjeg zakonskog okvira kojim je uređeno to područje. Nadalje, rad donosi i prikaz sudske prakse (sentenci) svih sudskih instanci u Republici Hrvatskoj te statističke podatke vezane uz izricanje i izvršavanje rada za opće dobro u proteklih 25 godina. Uz prethodno navedeno, autori nastoje upozoriti na aktualne probleme koji se pojavljuju u praksi prilikom određivanja rada za opće dobro, njegova provođenja i izvršavanja te na navedene probleme ponuditi odgovore i rješenja. This paper provides a concise overview of the historical development of community service, a description of the legal changes that have taken place in the past 25 years related to the legal regulation of the sentence and execution of community service, as well as a description of the current legal framework that regulates this area. The work presents the case law (sentences) of all court instances in the Republic of Croatia, as well as statistical data related to the pronouncement and execution of community service in the last 25 years. In addition to the above, the authors attempt to point out current problems that appear in practice when determining work for community service, its implementation and execution, and to offer answers and solutions to these problems.
