This article seeks to identify and highlight the elements relating to cultural heritage in typefaces available on the web, in particular of the fonts considered safe for use. The starting point is a bibliographical revision, from which presents an overview of typography on the web that punctuates the main typographic files. The origin of these designs gives rise to a discussion of the origin and projetual motif of each typographic design. In addition, this work is limited to the study of Western typography continuous reading, for long texts.
