• The 16th annual Association for Computing Machinery Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics (SIGGRAPH) conference will be held Jul 31-Aug 4, 1989, in Boston and is expected to draw a record 30,000 attendees. The conference will offer day-long courses dealing with such issues as facial animation, real-time microworlds, color production technology, and parallel processing. New courses designed to introduce designers and artists to computer graphics have been added. SIGGRAPH's technical program will consist of technical papers presented in parallel with panel discussions and special sessions. The art show and film program will include works of animation and interactive art. A list of new products to be announced at SIGGRAPH is presented.
