• This paper presents, in tabular format, the Language Arts standards of the Georgia Quality Core Curriculum. The first column lists the strand number, the second column presents the content standard, the next column lists the topic (listening, speaking, grammar, writing, literature, etc.), the next column notes the concept covered by the standard, and the last column makes space available for notes. The standards in the paper are divided first by grade level (individually from kindergarten through grade 8, then grades 9-12 combined) and further divided within grade levels, where appropriate, into sections such as oral communication, written communication, reading, speaking, literature, grammar and usage, journalism, and listening.
