Part 3, on nutrition, contains readings on West Virginia diet, nutrition resources, food hazards, and the nutritional needs for different age groups. Health issues are addressed in parts 4 and 5. Topics covered are doctors, patients' rights, therapy, alcoholism, female diseases, birth control, pregnancy, and childbirth.
