- In exploring the bases of learning disabilities, the following areas are considered: a working definition of perceptual handicaps; the relationship of perceptual handicaps to IQ; diagnosing perceptual handicaps; effective learning experiences for the perceptually handicapped child; and recommendations for developing new curricula.
