• Juan Eduardo Cirlot (1916-1973) escribió versos aparentemente agramaticales en el plano sintáctico. Con el propósito de ampliar la comprensión del fenómeno de la agramaticalidad en la poesía, estudiaremos la naturaleza de las variaciones y violaciones de la lógica gramatical en algunos de sus poemas, a la luz de la poética generativista, y postularemos que a esa aparente agramaticalidad subyace un orden (taxis) interno cargado de significado en las intrarreferencias del autor, en conformidad con la función poética jakobsoniana. Juan Eduardo Cirlot (1916-1973) wrote verse which is apparently agrammatical on the syntactic level. With the goal of broadening our understanding of the phenomenon of agrammaticality in poetry, we study the nature of the variations and violations of grammatical logic in some of his poems, under the light of generativist poetics. We hope to demonstrate that beneath the apparent agrammaticality lies an internal order (taxis) loaded with meaning thanks to the author’s intra-references, and that all this is in line with Jakobson’s indications concerning the poetic function.
