"Professional development is becoming one of the most important factors in the countries and people's improvement. ... Professional development in Spain is growing because of the possibilities of new technologies [which] are changing the focus of training, from trainers to learners, from teaching to learning, from synchronic training to asynchronic training. This article reviews the new perspectives for people working in professional development." Four conditions are described how to make a didactically effective use of the new technologies.
