- The subject of Identity can be studied from different disciplines. Developing notions of otherness also entails a complex problem. What is not interesting is to observe the mechanisms of operation of these terms in a specific community and how they are inserted in the recognition of themselves and others. Following the ideas of Jerome Bruner (1986), with respect to the narrative construction of the I, it seems to me that the construction of my stay in the world, I build my possibility of existence in it. In this way I not only build my stay but there is only sense in relation to the others. My speech, in the end, is based on the identification of the voices of others. We begin with a question: How does a bilingual (Nahuatl-Spanish) family build their identity by being aware of the Other? We will start from a case study, in San Miguel Canoa, Puebla. Particularly based on interviews conducted and where we observe the linguistic features that allow us to approach how the opera is the construction of identity and otherness. El tema de la Identidad puede estudiarse desde distintas disciplinas. Desarrollar las nociones de otredad, igualmente conlleva un problema complejo. Lo que nos interesa, es observar los mecanismos de operación de estos términos en una comunidad en específico y cómo es que se insertan en el reconocimiento de sí mismos y de los otros. Siguiendo las ideas de Jerome Bruner (1986), con respecto a la construcción narrativa del Yo, nos parece que al construir narrativamente mi estancia en el mundo, construyo mi posibilidad de existencia en el mismo. De este modo no sólo construyo mi estancia sino que ésta sólo toma sentido en relación a los otros. Mi discurso, al final, tiene como base la identificación de las voces de los otros. Comenzamos con una pregunta: ¿Cómo una familia bilingüe (náhuatl-español) construye su identidad al estar consciente del Otro? Partiremos de un estudio de caso, en San Miguel Canoa, Puebla. Particularmente teniendo como base las entrevistas realizadas y donde observaremos los rasgos lingüísticos que nos permiten abordar cómo es que opera la construcción de la identidad y la otredad.
