Abstract
This editorial introduces the articles in the first issue of volume three of Policy & Internet. The seven published articles all investigate some aspect of citizen—government interactions in online environments, including political participation (from petitioning to protest), blogs and agenda setting, e‐government, and the use of the Internet in election campaigns.
