- Abstract In this report, four pyridine hydrazones containing anthracene and triphenylamine as a new type of metal-free nucleases were synthesized. Results indicate that the conjugates can cleave the plasmid DNA to Form II or Form III under physiological conditions via hydrolytic pathway.
