• The molecular structure of the title compound, C26H31N3S, shows a guanidyl group bridged by an ethylene linker with a localized C=N bond to the tritylsulfanyl unit. The N—C—C—S group has a folded non‐planar conformation, with a torsion angle of 66.04 (15)°. Intermolecular C—H...S hydrogen bonds link molecules into chains extended along [010].
