• In this work, the authors present the results of experimental investigations into the physico-mechanical properties of assembly welded joints and the parent metal of 10KhSNDA and 15KhSNDA steels. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the steels are presented in Tables 1 and 2. The investigations were carried out using the technology of assembling automatic submerged-arc welded and manuel arc welded butt joints with a thickness from 12-32 mm. Depending on the time of the year, the air temperature during welding operations varied from 30 to -20 deg C.
