Field-induced strain versus applied field (
x–
E) and bias dependence on dielectric constant (
e–
E) of asymetric ferroelctric films were studied from Landau free energy. The general feature is shift and deformed. The asymmetry of
x–
E and
e–
E curves are much more obvious than in
P–
E hysterisis loops. We find that it is very easy to extract the asymmetry parameter from the
x–
E curve rather than from the
P–
E loop.
