• Methods used in the quantitative analysis and interpretation of two-dimensional nuclear Overhauser enhancement spectra are described. By taking multispin effects, such as spin diffusion, into account in the analysis, weak NOES can be interpreted and used to obtain additional accurate distance constraints. This increases the number and quality of constraints which can be used to define molecular structures from NMR data.
