  • Recently, many studies have been carried out in order to introduce and keep alive Turkish culture. Restoration (renewal and conservation), documentation, protection, promotion and exhibition of art works have great importance. For many reasons such as industrialization, development of industry, increase in migration to cities, change of popular professions; handcrafts which are evaluated within the scope of movable cultural assets and belong to folk culture have been lost and forgotten. In this research, some weavings in Kuluncak Village of Divriği district were examined and technique and pattern analysis were conducted. Weaving samples were examined on site, photographs were taken and face-to-face interviews were made with local people and registration forms were created as well. The restitution studies of the selected patterns were performed on computer environment. In this research 1 (one) carpet beam, 3 (three) carpet pillows, 1 (one) carpet bag and 1 (one) rug (cicim) samples were examined.
